Sacate ranch:

A ranch consisting of several buildings on a steep 100 acre lot that is part of a large cattle ranch. Lot development standards required to use the existing buildings footprint and save/reuse the existing structures as much as possible. The first two buildings are conversions of a stable (building 2) and a outbuilding using simple shed forms cedar siding and corten steel roofing.  Each building is under 1000sf and work in tandem to function as a residence with living arranged in one building and sleeping in the other sharing a wood deck to connect the two buildings.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        back to projects
